time is motionless and lifeless
until its gone
the happiness of the past
uneasiness of the future

time makes you wish u did things a different way
but you wouldn't have learned from them
time makes you want to stop at your highest point
but you wouldn't appreciate it without the the low

time is a blessing
but it is not seen until its past tense
and if the tense is past
you would never be looking forward

so heres to the memories of the past
and the good times that you wish could have been frozen
and heres to the mistakes made

i might regret the past and hate the future
but i will never forget the present
